Fallsview Indoor Waterpark
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Located in the heart of the Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, tourist district, the waterpark is part of a 20-acre, mixed-use development. The property includes three hotels; 200,000 square feet of meeting space; and several themed restaurants and family entertainment options.

Attached to the complex is a 100,000-square-foot casino.

The development runs along Falls Avenue, which directly overlooks Niagara Falls — and much of it is connected through indoor walkways. The south edge of the development reaches to Clifton Hill, which features a host of restaurants and entertainment options.

At 115,000 square feet, the tropical-themed waterpark is an aquatic thrill on its own. After two years of construction, Fallsview opened in 2006. Said to be the only waterpark built on top of a multistory, reinforced parking structure, it includes a 126,000-gallon wave pool; an outdoor pool with a heated deck open year ’round; two hot tubs; a kiddie splash park; and a dry playground structure.

Besides the large rain forest-themed interactive play structure with seven slides and a 1,000-gallon dumping bucket, there are also two slide towers. One is approximately 65 feet high with four tube slides, including a plunge bowl slide; the other is approximately 75 feet high and has two mat-racer slides and two body slides. For added safety, all slides end in a run-out, and the floor is covered with slip-resistant material.

For guests looking to stay dry, the Adventure City arcade offers more than 110 games of chance and dexterity, plus minigolf, bumper cars and the Toddler Fun House. Or there’s always the outdoor rock-climbing wall and the MGM 4-D movie theater. Eateries include the Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, the Always Refreshing Soda Shop and The Hershey Store.

The three hotels located on property are adjacent to all the fun. Combined, they provide hundreds rooms for travelers with varying budgets. From fine dining with a falls view, to family films shown in an outdoor courtyard, each offers unique amenities for guests with different needs.
